The government does a good job at providing our service members with what they need for their missions. However, what we have learned in serving American forces for over a decade is that there will always be a need for certain mission-critical or lifesaving equipment that the military supply chain will not be able to provide. That is where Troops Direct steps in – by cutting through any bureaucracy, red tape, or budgetary issues that may interfere with getting our heroes the items that they need to accomplish their mission and return home safely.

We believe that our heroes in uniform should always have what they need. Neither they nor their loved ones should ever have to come out of pocket to have the equipment that they need while serving our nation. Our funding comes from the generosity of American citizens, private foundations and companies who believe in empowering our sons and daughters in service.

From Navy SEALs and Green Berets to National Guardsmen, Marines and Soldiers, Troops Direct will proudly accept requests from any American servicemember, anywhere on the globe.

Our team receives multiple requests on a weekly basis from our troops. From there we vet every request thoroughly using our knowledge of U.S. movements and insight from many of our active-duty contacts. Once we verify the validity of a request and the items therein, Troops Direct works with our partners to expedite those items to wherever that unit needs it.

We do offer our donors the ability to direct their donation, whenever possible, to certain types of requests. Examples would be medical, communication, tactical, or K-9.

Yes! Troops Direct is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law.

Yes! All online donations will generate an auto-reply email with receipt. All donations sent via U.S. mail will be receipted through a letter sent to you via U.S. mail. If you need a copy of a donation receipt, please contact

Yes! If you wish to donate anonymously, you can submit only an email address to receive an auto-reply tax receipt and provide no further personal information.

Automatic & Recurring Giving

Yes! When you sign up to become a member of our monthly giving circle, the Supply Chain, you join a group of committed supporters helping to say ‘yes’ to hundreds of requests per year.

Monthly giving to Troops Direct is a great investment. It’s one of the most effective and manageable ways you can support our efforts. Your support funds critical supplies at a moments notice for our men and women in uniform.

Your credit card will be charged immediately upon making your first donation. All subsequent recurring donations will be charged monthly on the date your first donation was made. For example, if you make your first monthly donation on June 29th, your card will automatically be charged on the 29th of each month.

Supply Chain donors receive an email when each monthly donation has been successfully processed. Additionally, all donors receive an annual statement reflecting the prior year’s total contributions. These statements are typically mailed in late January.


Currently, we accept donations of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other supported cryptocurrencies through our donation portal powered by Crypto for Charity. All that is required is basic knowledge of conducting cryptocurrency transactions and desire to support our troops. Yes! Troops Direct partners with 360 Match Pro for employer gift matching. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions or volunteer hours completed by their employees. You will be prompted to enter your employer’s information when making an online donation.
