One Package Started It All
It began with a single request.
A longtime friend—a U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Commander deployed in Afghanistan—needed essential gear his unit couldn’t get fast enough through the system. We sent a box.
Then another. And another.
Word spread. Requests started arriving from other units, in other countries, across all branches of the U.S. military.
What started as one package became a mission: equip our deployed troops with the gear they urgently need—no red tape, no politics, no delays.
Our Mission
Troops Direct is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that delivers mission-critical equipment directly to active-duty U.S. service members around the world. We respond to verified requests from commanders, medics, and warfighters for specialized supplies often unavailable through traditional government channels.
We do not send care packages. We send exactly what’s requested: life-saving gear, delivered fast, at no cost to the warfighter.
From publicized deployments to covert missions, we ensure those serving on the front lines have what they need to complete the mission and come home safely.
Why It Matters
Today, over 2 million U.S. troops serve across 100+ countries. Many of them operate in high-risk environments where outdated, insufficient, or delayed gear can cost lives. Bureaucracy shouldn’t get in the way of survival.
We exist to fill that gap. We don’t wait for funding cycles or procurement approvals. We act in days, not months. And we do it thanks to donors like you.
